Abstract: This paper studies the production and application of granular alkali, with emphasis on its production process, production equipment, product quality control and application prospects. Granular alkali is an important chemical material which is widely used in rubber, textile, leather, medicine and other industries. It is of great significance to promote economic development. In this paper, the shortcomings of existing production processes and equipment are analyzed, optimization schemes are proposed, and the application prospect of granular alkali is forecasted, hoping to provide reference for the development of granular alkali production and application.

II. Production process of granular alkali
The production process of granular alkali is generally divided into sodium hydroxide method and sodium chloride electrolysis method. Sodium hydroxide method is based on the reaction of pure alkali or sodium salt under heating conditions to obtain sodium hydroxide. In NaCl electrolysis, NaCl aqueous solution is electrolytically decomposed to obtain NaOH and chlorine.
In actual production, sodium hydroxide method is commonly used. The production process of sodium hydroxide includes the measurement and transportation of materials, heating of reaction kettle, reaction, stirring and discharging, washing, concentration and drying of products, etc. The stability and controllability of production process have an important influence on the quality and yield of granular alkali.
